Inside Zyfa Safer Cleaning

Being Transparent is our way of life !

We take pride in the ingredients we choose and the products we create. We believe you deserve to know and understand what you're using in your home. That's why we always disclose our ingredients. Our dedicated team of sustainable chemists is continually seeking innovative methods to develop cleaning products that are both safer and more efficient for your family.

OUR FOUNDATIONAL INGREDIENTS

COCONUT

Coconut oil, extracted from the inner meat or copra of the coconut, is a key ingredient in many of our surfactants. The coconut's tough outer shell protects the copra, ensuring its purity. Surfactants derived from coconuts, recognizable by the "coco" in their names like "Sodium Coco-Sulfate," are known for their exceptional cleaning ability and gentleness. Additionally, coconuts are a sustainable resource. A single coconut tree can yield more than 50 coconuts each year and continue producing for up to 80 years, making them an environmentally friendly choice.

BEETS

Beets, renowned as a superfood rich in antioxidants, are not just nutritious but also a powerful source for cleaning. Their high sugar content, the most among vegetables, is utilized to produce surfactants. Surfactants like Alkylpolyglucosides (APGs), made from these sugars, are identified by names containing "glucoside," for instance, decyl glucoside. This makes beets an unexpectedly versatile and effective ingredient in our cleaning products.

VINEGAR

Vinegar, a natural product derived from fermentation, has a long history of use in cleaning that dates back to ancient times. We incorporate vinegar in our household cleaning products at Zyfa, particularly for its impressive strength in dissolving grease and tackling stains. In our Zyfa Window and Glass Cleaner, vinegar plays a crucial role, ensuring that windows are left with nothing but a crystal-clear, streak-free shine

MINERALS

Minerals, sourced directly from the heart of the earth, play a vital role in our products. We utilize various minerals, like calcium chloride and sodium carbonate, at Zyfa for their incredible ability to enhance performance. These natural wonders are excellent at lifting stains, eliminating hard-water scale, and boosting the effectiveness of both surfactants and enzymes in our cleaning formulas.

VITAMIN E

Vitamin E, abundant in foods like avocados, sunflower seeds, and almonds, is a potent antioxidant known for its skin-calming and anti-inflammatory properties. This essential nutrient adds a uniquely soothing touch to our hand soap, offering a noticeably gentle and comforting experience with every wash.

Chemicals often get a negative reputation,

but the reality is that they're not all the same.

Let's talk about some of the safer, cleaner chemicals we use in our products.

Solvents as Stabilizers

Think of solvents as the peacekeepers of our formulas. They help blend everything smoothly, stabilizing our products. Plus, they're great at tackling the oils in the dirt and grime we're trying to clean.

Water Softeners as Helpers

These are the behind-the-scenes heroes. Water softeners grab onto metal ions to prevent issues like discoloration and hard-water buildup. They're essential for keeping things running smoothly.

pH Adjusters for Balance

We use pH adjusters to make sure our products are just right – safe and effective for you and your family. It's all about finding that perfect balance.

Surfactants for Cleaning

These are the heavy lifters in our cleaning arsenal. Surfactants dive deep to break up water's surface tension, making sure dirt and stains are lifted away effortlessly.

Natural Fragrances and Essential Oils for Scent

Our products don't just clean; they also delight your senses. We use a blend of natural fragrances and essential oils, all responsibly sourced, to enhance your cleaning experience.

Preservatives to Keep Things Fresh

Preservatives are our freshness guardians. They keep our products safe from bacteria, especially important since water can be a breeding ground for germs. We're always on the lookout for the safest, most innovative preservatives.

Enzymes for a Deep Clean

Enzymes are like the deep-cleaning experts. They work at a fiber level, breaking down tough stains like protein, fat, and starches far better than surfactants alone.
